Are you currently in the market for buying homeschool curriculum? Don’t know where to start or how to keep track of it all?

I have a couple of tips in my video: Homeschool Used Book Fair Curriculum Haul – Part 2. See Part 1 here as well.

Obviously homeschooling can get quite expensive…but it doesn’t have to be. Buying used is a great way to save money.

There are many ways to purchased inexpensive homeschooling curriculum:

  1. Used Book Fairs (locally operated)
  2. Half-Priced Books (remember to sign up for coupons online AND get your educators discount card)
  3. Craigslist
  4. Facebook Homeschool Groups
  5. Person-to-Person
  6. Library

My girlfriend gets money for homeschooling…in Alaska! Like A LOT of money every year. But there are stipulations…you can’t use religious curriculum.

If you aren’t in Alaska, there are still free homeschooling resources available. In Texas there is Texas Virtual Academy. These are also non-religious. And beware of Common Core.

Despite the anti-religious sentiment of our country (sad times), they don’t restrict teaching other curriculum that does include a religious worldview. But this may vary from state to state.
